ActivEdit ASP
The ActivEdit ASP server behavior is powered by two COM objects — aeasp.dll and aeasputil.dll — which are bundled with the extension. After registering these components on your web server, you can apply the ActivEdit extension to any ASP page.

ActivEdit ColdFusion
The ActivEdit ColdFusion server behavior is implemented as a custom tag. By default, the extension copies activedit.cfm into every folder in which a file invokes <cf_activedit>. Use the extension to insert, edit, and delete the ActivEdit tag.

ActivEdit JSP
The ActivEdit JSP server behavior is implemented as a custom tag: <ae:activedit>. The extension copies all the required files and folders into your Dreamweaver site, including WEB-INF, web.xml, activedit.jar, and tag libraries.
